The chalet was spacious and comfortably appointed, offering a peaceful retreat. The grounds were beautifully maintained, perfect for leisurely strolls. Our kids loved the playgrounds, jumping pillows, and mini golf, while the bistro served delicious meals. The friendly staff added to our pleasant experience.
I cannot recommend this hotel.

Had a lovely stay! The relaxing atmosphere and cute chalet vibes were just what we needed. The restaurant served delicious meals, and the staff were friendly, although a bit more warmth would have been nice. The wildlife outside was a good bonus too!

The resort's Swiss-inspired architecture is super charming, and the beautiful surroundings really felt like a mini escape! I loved being close to Launceston - just a quick 15-minute drive - which was handy for day trips. Plus, the bistro had some decent food that hit the spot after a long day of exploring.
My overall experience was pretty disappointing. The room was nice but the bed was uncomfortable, and the shower? Total nightmare! It went from freezing cold to scalding hot without warning. there was no ATM nearby, which made getting cash a hassle, and I was really bummed when the bar was closed for a private party. Definitely needs some TLC!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay as the Tamar Valley Resort, and wished we could stay longer. The facilities were excellent, the cleanliness could not be faulted, in fact overall we have nothing negative we could say about our stay. The meals in the restaurant were an excellent price. Our room was modern, with great amenities, and our lakeside room with balcony was a lovely place to sit and enjoy a glass of wine and relax. For the amount of people staying, it was extremely quiet.

The spacious and clean accommodation comfortably housed us, especially with the option for adjoining apartments. The onsite facilities, including the pool, spa, and lovely restaurants, were good for relaxation. Although some areas need updating, the charming atmosphere and friendly staff made it a nice trip.

Well designed chalet, in a typical Swiss village - private, clean and with the necessary comforts in a romantic setting!
We would have preferred a little microwave - to be able to warm take-away food!!

Nice surrounds with some limited shopping on site eg. souveniers and coffee shop/bakery. About 15 minutes from Launceston meant easy distance to main shopping centre.
A toaster in room would have been nice

The upgrade from a Garden Room to an Executive Spa Suite which was beautiful in every detail! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The mini-golf course was so much fun and situated in very beautiful gardens. Also very reasonably priced buffet for breakfast and dinner.
We really couldn't fault our stay. It was overall a very pleasant experience and great value for money.
